Without me you'd be one place nearer the back
So Oli Blomfeld finished in 22:12? Quite a remarkable effort, considering the conditions he encountered on the first couple of legs, I'd say that one is truly deserved of a "bloody good effort mate". Congratulations Oli, a superb Bob Graham Round.

Apologies for all the confusion caused to Oli Blomfield's support team at Dunmail Raise. 5 of us did a night trip on Leg 2 in the heavy snow. As we came off Seat Sandal, the snow was thick and we cocked up the line and got ourselves into difficulties where it was super slippy and some very big drops with rocks below us that we would have not been able to stop a slide. Took us about 25 minutes to go about 200 metres.
As we got to Dunmail Raise at 5am, various people came up assuming that we were Oli's group. However, they were still behind us as we had seen them still on Dollywagon when we left Seat Sandal. We then left but hoped we had not mucked up for them as they would have been following our footsteps most of the way as we got it 99% right until that point. Thank goodness they stayed higher than us and did not waste time on Seat Sandal descent.
In those conditions, 22 hrs was amazing time.
No problem. My nav man, Kim Collison, kept us right! Support crew were a bit confused, but partly to having just woken up!!
Here's the data if of interest, will get report written up soon too. http://www.movescount.com/moves/move100796041

I'm no expert on sporting stats but they seem to say you did a BG in 22 hours and were only really trying for less than 4 hours. Good effort
