Our moorland, esp in lower Wharfedale would look a bit different if it weren't for the shooting parties. Sometimes I get sick of bashing through high heather, but it can look beautiful

On the positive side Mossy, your intervention may well have saved a few grouse and other moorland animals being maimed and left to die in misery so well done mate

Yes, of course I would quite willing sacrifice my paltry life for nature and all those little innocent birdies and cute tiny weeny mammals....!
