I'm sure you'll get in. I think they let in pretty much all of the reserves in last year.
Fitness can't be stored. It must be earned over and over, indefinitely.

well done. I just looked at the results. You did really well

I'm still cycling a bit . Not as much falling off, although I did have to get off for a rest on a steep hill at the weekend.

Good luck for next week, not that you'll need it.

    Thanks Milli!

I quite enjoyed Bala ....all a learning curve really for Nice, walked most of the run as wasn't going to bother at all.
Have had really bad shin splints.... been dosing up on bruphen and gel but at T2 thought sod it, will see if I can shuffle round!! Glad I did from a apsychological point of view as it was long, hot, hilly and damn knackering!

The Vit's the same distance in Spetember so hopefully I can go a bit quicker!!

Will let you know how it goes on the 22nd!! 10 more sleeps

    Red face Re: Helvellyn Triathlon

The run at Bala is all road... every undulating, soul destroying foot of it (well apart from 2-300 yards of gravel at the start / finish), and on the day the heat was pretty ferocious. I've still got the sunburn now, but then I was out for longer than most!!!

But did you enjoy it Emmi? And well done in France!

I learnt some hard lessons ... DOH!
