    Tim Edward BG Challenge

Very best of luck to Mr Tim Edward who will be attempting the BG on 18th and 19th August. If anyone has any advice they can give or knows Tim and would like to wish him luck, I'm sure he'd appreciate it. As I will be abroad at the time, if anyone involved could add to the thread to let me know how he got on, I would be very grateful. Apart from that, he who dares Rodney, Ad Altiora as ever.......................

Good luck Goosey - you should cruise round.

I'd offer to help, but I appear to have an appointment at Weasdale that weekend.

Best advice I can offer is just to enjoy the whole experience (and eat & drink plenty).

Let us know how you get on.

Cheers John!!! Just spotted this one. I'll have have to keep my response polite, unlike my usual replies to your good-self.

I suppose there's no chance of failing anonomously now!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY for tomorrow and have a good one in the states.

GeoffB: Thanks for the good wishes. It was good to bump into you today at the Borrowdale.....made the stretch from Glaramara to Gable pass a lot quicker.

saw a support group , could it be them? On A593 between Keswick and ambleside? Weather is not good, visibility is poor, although not too cold.Good luck to him , he'll have done well.

Tim finished in 23:09 and was very strong on the last climb. The weather was bad from start to finish (mist, wind and rain). Well done Tim!!!!
