[Wheeze]

The 2014-2015 SWWL kicked off this weekend with the fabulous Sugarloaf race. After a busy summer with family stuff, it was grand to be out racing again and I enjoyed this race more than any I have done for ages. It was just one of those days. Perfect weather (cool, light breeze, clear viz), perfect underfoot (damp and sticky but not slippy) and perfect field size. For some reason I felt fantastic and went well. I guess its like visiting old friends. Familiar yet still fun.

What did you think of the new start Wheeze? Took me by surprise but made for a fast race; would have preferred to descend that way as well, not a fan of the track as it feels lethal!

I thought the new start was great. But that last descent is one of my favourite bits, so I'm glad they kept it.
