Anyone doing this a week on Sunday?
A nice 1800m swim around Semer Water followed by a 42 mile bike over some 'nice passes' including a 1 in 4 straight from the swim and about 4 other long climbs.
Then the great fell bit, although Pennine Way. A jog (and it just might be for me at this stage!) up and down Great Shunner Fell.

Nice bike course on this!! Not swimming any more so going to save myself for the Helwith Bridge duathlon in October I think.
Not swimming........are you sick of swimming in 5hitty water?
Going against all the recommendations, my first tri and also will be my first swim outdoors .....well apart from the sea! Ha!

Pendle Tri at Barnoldswick makes a return this year, quite good for a 1st time one - they used to have an enforced 10 min break between disciplines. Had some good tussles in this a few years ago.
Gutted a nice fairly local Tri and sadly 2 weeks after the Ben race and 1 week before the Ben tri......maybe next year.

Im doin this one - no I havent learned to swim, im entered as a team with two pals. Very much looking forwards to it.

I hope to get up to the Wensleydale Tri but not sure yet of logistics yet.
