    2015:
Individual - best 4 from 6 to count.
Club - Top 3 points scorers from any U12-U18 category for EA affiliated clubs to count at each round. All 6 rounds to count.

Awards for completing 4+ rounds will only be made to competitors, who are current junior or family members of the FRA.
I will require confirmation of the FRA membership number from competitors/parents/guardians preferably by the fifth race, and certainly by the final race at the very latest, so that I can put together the 'eligible' list for our supplier.

The FRA Membership page can be found here.

Is that a departure from previous years Jim and I presume you are alluding to eligibility for T shirts/hoodies. I was unaware that individuals had to be Fra members to be eligible and certainly Fra membership credentials havnt been required in the past. If that's the case it needs to be more publicly advertised.

If it is the case when was that decision taken and also why? When did juniors have to be members of the FRA to be eligible for prizes, its just a short hop skip and a short sharp uphill bit to insisting they are members to take part in races and woe betide anyone who turns up unattached.

Just for your race planning diaries dont forget English Schools which is on the 27th Sept and is at Calder High again this year

The decision was announced on page 56 of the Autumn 2014 edition of The FellRunner, following a FRA committee decision.
You will have to ask a full committee member why.
249 competitors qualified for an award in 2014.

I would expect more details to appear in the 2015 Handbook, and on the FRA website Junior page before the 1st race.

Strange and contradictory rule - so nothing surprising in that then :/
