It seems a bit absurd given that we no longer appear capable of a manned mission to the moon. If indeed they ever went in the first place...
Next time you're played the soundtrack of Neil Armstrong saying "one small step for man... one giant leap for mankind", consider that he was meant to say "one small step for a man". This makes more sense, since 'man' means mankind, whereas 'a man' is what he was referring to.
This explains the big pause between the two lines and speed of the second line, presumably after he thought 'hang on, I messed that up. Ah well, the world's listening, I'd best go through with it.'
Google are offering a $30 million competition to land a privately funded robot on the moon.
I recollect that your backyard looks like the lunar surface under certain light conditions.
If you buy a small robot you may be able to convince google to pay you $30,000,000!

First across the line in the Moon Fell Race, but failed the kit-check when they discovered the jacket was Pertex....
Shaved my dreads off...now just 'Jeff'...
How hard can it be?
Big rocket: technically easy but expensive
Guidance system: technically easy
Landing on the moon: trickier but not too hard
Robot that is capable of travelling 500m and transmitting video back to the rocket and then to Earth - technically very easy.
I'm not a rocket scientist, but I know one. Maybe I should ask him.
No no, you'd be much better getting your information on the forum Noel
Whatever happened to that guy who built his own rocket and launched in Morecambe Bay? He was planning a manned space flight, seemed such a good idea.
