Cheers Gaz and Mike.
Like I said, I'll be camping and doing a bit of hut to hut stuff the week leading up to the race but thinking about booking accommodation for night before and after. I've not been to this area before so any advice on what's available?

A wealth of info, thanks guys. We'll be signing up then I'm sure.

Hotel Europe in Zinal is good and has a fantastic restaurant - lots of options in Sierre - unfortunately the 30% increase in the value of the Swiss franc makes prices look ridiculous.

Anyone entered this yet. My entry went in on Saturday, flights also booked. Can't wait!

We held off given the 30% increase in cost but think we'll enter another year it looks well worth it.

I've entered, three of us heading over from the Isle of Man.
Looking forward to some Euro "Sky running".

t's over 25 years since I did this so my memories are a bit hazy but a great race and well worth doing. I seem to remember the first couple of miles being extremely congested and the final downhill section being exhilerating with locals cheering us on and clanging cow bells. We stayed in a hostel in Sierre the night before and a mountain hut the next night.
