    Race vests/hydro packs

    Hello!!

Currently using a running belt but hard to find one that doesn't slip and slide everywhere.... I've tried a hydro pack before but it just bounced up and down.... Super annoying!!

Anyone got any decent recommendations on what they use??

    Thanks!

Depending how much kit you're wanting to carry, I've loved the Inov8 race ultra vest. Fits a fair amount in if you pack it well and use the bottles rather than bladder. They have bigger versions coming out soon too.

I'm with Alan on the S-Lab skinset packs, tried and tested. Although I opt for the smaller 5 pack rather than the 12.
    Good going down !!

I have the Inov8 Ultra Vest for races but for normal day to day running, and when I need to carry more kit, I use the Kalenji Trail Bag that I got from Decathlon for £26, used it for the Lakeland 100 recce in November and thought it was excellent for the price.

Very popular with the ultra crowd are the Ultimate Direction vests. http://www.ultimatedirection.com/c-s...re-series.aspx

    Three volume sizes ( male ) named after sponsored athletes - AK - 4L ( Anton Krupicka ), SJ - 7L ( Scott Jurek ) and PB - 11L ( Pete Bakwin )

They just come with 2 bottles to be carried up front, but you can fit a bladder in the back if you want

I have the S-Lab 5 and find it works well for me. Very stable and comfortable. Much more so than a Camelback I used previously. Not cheap though. The Kalenji copy from Decathlon looks like it would be worth a shot - especially for the great price.
