Junior Cross-country shoe

Hi,

My 8 yr old is in the primary Cross country, and she runs in some flat merell trainers. She is getting pretty into the races, and most other kids are wearing spikes. Does anyone have any advice re some reasonably priced junior racing shoes for x-country?

decathlon have some cheapish spikes but size might be a problem...only seem to go down to 6.5 online and they are out of those...A pair of mini walshes should be almost as good, a spike like fit and more versatile IMO...as to coping with varied surfaces
