Great to see entries coming in for the 7 x 7s for one of the Mournes classic routes. Hopefully we get blessed with favourable weather that we will be able to see the Mournes in all their splendour.

Took a wee skelp over the course at the weekend with the course dry for the most part. Great view from Slieve Binnian looking over the Silent Valley and Ben Crom. Still tough going to Binnian from Slieve Lamagan but a bit of a help with a tail wind.

Just a wee reminder that online entry for the Seven Sevens BC counter closes later on today.

This would be great race for those contemplating the Mourne Skyline in October as the two events share a lot of the same route

Any chance of some route notes along the lines of what's printed on the Harvey race maps for those of us who can't / haven't been able to reccie? Just some general advice as to the normal lines etc??
