So.. looks mildish, damp and potentially very windy for the Rombalds. Deep joy.

    Rombalds stride entry

I have one place available for this event on Saturday 6th February. Any takers?
However, the organisers need to know details by Wednesday at the latest.

I noticed that. It's a lot worse than it was nearer the beginning of the week. Did you get a place then, T_C?

Surprised nobody has posted about how lovely this was today. Perhaps they are still thawing out - it took me a long time in the bath. A wonderful trip out in Aire and Wharfedale with well hydrated moors inbetween. Knowing the route well was a definite advantage today.

I enjoyed it. First time I've run over 2hrs in about 6 months so not really an attempt on a fast time, but it was great to be out running long again and battling with the weather. Rombalds is one of my favourite events, the route is challenging and it's usually in poor weather, making the hot meal afterwards especially welcome. Great atmosphere always

    Yes, always a good 'un.
It was my tenth time yesterday and I volunteered to act as chaperone to a first timer. That made for a slow time and even longer out in the rain...so even better vfm than usual.
