    Re waterproofing

Discovered early on in the Fellsman that my OMM jacket is no longer waterproof!

Does anyone have any tips for the best way to re waterproof. I have used Nikwax wash in re-proofing before but it doesn't seem to have made much difference.

    Thanks

    1) Id check but I think you should use the spray-on reproofer as it's a shell, if you use a wash in it will also waterproof the inside reducing the breathability.

    2) did you wash the jacket first and what in, you need to clean the jacket first with a non bio detergent, Dreft/Fairy or Tech wash, reproofing it wont work on a dirty/sweaty fabric

There is a long thread on this some where.

Thanks IDP. I thought there probably was a thread somewhere but couldn't find it with a quick look. I think I've got some tech wash somewhere, so ill go down that route and get some spray on for the outside.
