I used a numo on my bike trip to Jura, very small and packable, was very happy with it. Lots of cushioning. The lack of insulation wasn't an issue but then I did have a reasonable sized sleeping bag, but it is pretty thick so that should provide plenty of insulation. It is essentially an expensive lilo (hopefully a bit more robust to punctures), but really not that expensive (perversely it claims that it shouldn't be used as a floatation aid!)

Hmm, I'm leaning towards a Neoair small....but I do wonder if it would feel odd on my legs as the mat is 6cm deep! I guess I would use my rucksack under my legs and feet.

I'm just back from a couple of days in the Lakes camping. We got caught in some pretty miserable, very wet, cold weather one night. I was using the Alpkit Numo sleeping mat and it did a great job, very comfy and it easily kept me warm enough so I'd have no qualms in recommending it.

That's good news as I'm just awaiting delivery of one!

Hmm, do you think the Numo would suffice at the RAB or OMM?
