Spotted this ...... only downside for longer rounds is that battery life is given as 16 hours.
I was a bit of an oddball until I was abducted by aliens; but I'm perfectly OK now!
On normal settings a Suunto Ambit is 15 hours! Other things may not match up though. I've no incentive to look as I have already bought a Suunto.

I bought one about 4 weeks ago. Very happy with it up to now, seems to be working fine and much cheaper than anything else I've seen.
Can you upload routes to it (via a GPX file) as you could/can a Garmin 305 and also the Suunto (but only via the web - grrr!)?

I think you can. They have their own software that comes with it that is linked to google earth. I've been doing the reverse where I've saved the routes I've done as a gpx and then put them onto Strava.
