is top of Helvellyn a nice place ? Because when the wife and I walked there yesterday (1st time ever) all we could see was mist.
The good thing is that she followed me without EVER complaining. When we first met not even if I bribed her with all the chocolates and films of Jude Law she would have followed me, not to mention without complaining. This is happy success.
It's bloody lovely mate! Once saw a harrier jet below us in the valley , superb!!!

Now that is a SPECIAL shot... gorgeous.
And the top of Helvellyn is beautiful... if you didn't get the chance to see much this time, you've got the perfect excuse to go back up. About 1.30-2.30, September 9th the more, ahem... modest triathlon competitors should be coming through.
