Tumble on Green Gable

A friend supporting my BG saw someone taking a tumble on Green Gable on Saturday, he then later picked up a watch in the same location after failing to find me on Great Gable. He thinks that whoever fell over was on a BG attempt and gave them a couple of biscuits.

That's great news Jim - it was my pal Chris who took the fall. He only realised he'd lost his watch when he got to Honister - he'd had it 20 years so was annoyed to have lost it. I'll get him to PM you with his details.

Not a BG as such but our 'pub' team doing the Billy Bland Challenge. We got round in about 21 hours so all good, even with Chris's fall. He was a bit bruised and lacerated but no major drama.

Ah I've just read some other threads and I saw you come into Keswick a shade under 20 hours with a sprint finish - excellent effort
