    Tor fell races

Weds 15th July it's the Haslingden Tor Fell races. One of the oldest fell races originally called the Tor Mile and won in the past by runners like Dave Cannon and Dave Lewis. It's further than a mile these days, a good tough up and down to Haslingdens most prominent feature.

First race Under 12s which includes under 10s is at 6.30 with all the other races under 16s/u14s and seniors to follow.

Venue is Park Road Helmshore, Haslingden which is on Holcombe road nr to the Musbury Fabrics Mill shop and the Helmshore Textile Museum.

I train a lot in this area, but have never done the race. I will make every effort to attend, what is the distance of the senior event please?
