I don't have any means to get a tracker to you from south lakes for your start. If you have a pacer or someone heading from Newby Bridge area to Keswick for your start at 10.30 let us know.

Greg Brock and Rick Jenner seem to have their tracker on with 58% battery. Will the battery last?

Umm thats interesting.. well spotted Bobster.. they have a trial tracker bit different to the normal ones we use. Our usual trackers do only use about 50% of the battery on a BG so normally I'd not worry, but with this device. Worse case I'll change the interval to make it last.

    Bit busy at midnight?

First time ever I've had to turn a few last minute requests away. If you need a tracker really need at least a weeks notice if not more, and they are for 4 day hires only. If you want a tracker just in case the weather clears in the next 4 weeks.. then really need to cough up.

In other news Mark Dalton is running the Cambrian Way starting on Tuesday
    http://maps.opentracking.co.uk/dalton15.cfm and

Alister Foy is running a 117 mile Devon C2C

Our tracking partners http://racetracker.no/ are using our new portal for an ultra run in Norway - gives you a flavour of some of the things we are doing for events in the future http://live.racetracker.no/rt15hornindal/ starts on Saturday morning (and why we are short of trackers!)

    No worries

A rather more sedate start than James email suggests.....I start the Cambrian Way (for 12 days) on Friday 10th July rather than Tuesday...2 days at the test match cricket in Cardiff b4 the delights of the Welsh hills await :-)

Surely not! Thunder, lightning and absolutely torrential rain through the night and into this morning. Logistics make delay difficult, but last 9 hrs have been atrocious up here. Hope all are safe.

A tough morning out there. Lee Tait looking most likely to carry on and get round. As Swiss Toni has said before "some days just aren't Bob Graham days"
