    on the theme of value for money in fell shoes, I spotted that Millets had Inov8 265 (blue version) available for £60 recently. I don't think you can do much better than that for hard-wearing well performing fell shoes, other than the NB MT00v2 when it was available at sportsshoes for £45.

    My normal shoe size is 8.5, and Inov8 size 8 is a perfect fit for me!

    I got mine for £108 with a pair (well should've been but I got 2 pairs) of socks chucked in. Admittedly still very expensive. But way better than any Salomon footwear I've ever had. Especially the Fellraisers, which I find to be pretty much gripless.
