Lucy was bang on her schedule at Bowfell - she'd started feeling a bit off up there but still hit the split.
She then apparently had a 'spectacular vomit' on Esk Pike. She got to Wasdale 15mins down on schedule (having lost time on only 2 splits with stomach issues, before resting for 15-20mins.
Leg 5 was slow as she was worried she would run out of fuel for the road as her stomach was not accommodating to food. She reached the Moot Hall at 00:54 in 21:54, greeted by a few drunks and a Hen Party (There's always a hen party about). She was pleased to have run ~40miles at 18h pace, but said that it was the most f*cked she'd ever been - more so than week-long expedition races.

Good to see younger fell runners having a pop at some of these big stuff records (after Adam's 78 peaks attempts). Lucy said she might as well go off fast just in case it all went well and also 'before Jasmin makes the record impossible'!

Any news on Tim Mosedale? Been in awe watching his epic. Tracker Seems to have stopped in the middle of a descent from Grey Knotts?

TriTait - sadly BG trackers always drop out when decending to Honister. We are looking at alternatives (Wifi or 3G trackers) but for the moment there is no coverage. Looks like Tim is nearing the finish.

Al Cowells Paddy Buckley was a great success, he actually set off bang on 18:00 so with finish at 17:21 gives him overall time of 23:21 or thereabouts. I was at start and each road crossing and finish, he did amazing, running in horrendous and pretty much constant driving rain from about 7am. Superb support from runners and family and great shout out by the compere in Llanberis at the trail marathon!

Cheers, I noticed it picked up again. Amazing effort from him.

Great run, not only from Neil Walker, but also Alan "Reindeer" Smith who tagged along with Neil, carrying all his own gear throughout. They had to tough out some pretty horrible weather on the second half of Leg 4 and Leg 5, but both looked very strong at the end.

    Well done guys.

In addition to Nic's fairly accurate account (although he added on a whole minute to my time) - here's the story of my attempt: http://lucyharrisaccelerate.blogspot...3-minutes.html
