Well done to the 108 runners who ran this rough tough race yesterday. That's 2 down in the series with 2 to go. So far no drop outs, everyone who entered both the Whittle Pike ( 108 runners ) and the Lee Mill( 139 runners )
Fell races has completed the race, that's impressive.

Fantastic to see International Mountain runner Emma Clayton doing the race last night and finishing 8th overall.

Results were posted by 9.30 last night which is impressive by any standards. Thanks once again to Jim Godwin for the results.

The Pilgrims Cross race next Weds evening starts at the earlier time of 7.15. Full details on the Diary page on the Rossendale Harriers website.

Tomorrow nights Popular Pilgrims Cross race will feature a new start position. This years race will start nearer to the finish ( which is behind the pub/restaurant) A boulder obstructing the already narrow track near the start has prompted the route change although the race did start further down the road in the past.

Please remember that registration is 15mins jog away from the start/finish and is at Sunnybank WMC on Helmshore Road, Haslingden.

Thanks for a great series. I'm working away from home during the week and find myself around distant Manchester. I've really enjoyed these (and many other) midweek races which have been a lifesaver during otherwise dull days away from home. Got a few enquiries anout why an NFR vest found its way to the Pennines!
