Tenuous link to the BG, but I'm on leg 4 tomorrow. Can any one recommend somewhere to get a breakfast in keswick at or before 8am.

Sorry this is a bit late, but a couple of months ago we were blown out of our tent in Borrowdale early one morning and spent a while scouring Keswick for somewhere to have breakfast (or even just sit down out of the weather) at about 7am. Eventually found ourselves at the YHA which did the job nicely; full English (plus a vegetarian option) and we weren't the only non-residents taking advantage. The land at the end of our toes goes on and on and on.
Wetherspoons opens at 7am and does a good breakfast menu.
