    BG attempt 12 September

    An unexpected withdrawal means I am in need of at least one pacer on leg 3 of my anticlockwise attempt on Saturday 12 September.
    Expect to be leaving Brackenclose around 10.15am with planned leg time of 61/2 hours. A lift should be available from and back to the Broughton area. Detailed route knowledge not essential but always helpful. Anyone else free for a trot round on other legs on the route will be more than welcome

    How did this go, Tim? We were out supporting in the shocking weather on an (understandably) unsuccessful attempt but thought we might see you heading the other way?
    The land at the end of our toes goes on and on and on.
