Membership cards
The FRA Committee are of the view that the membership cards, posted out each year, have little value and are thinking of discontinuing them. What do the members think? Do you use yours and, if so, how? We could set up a system that would allow a downloaded card as a, cheaper, alternative. Nick [email protected]
Never used my card! Perhaps a car sticker instead, like the National Trust issue for parking, to compete with the OMMers...?!!

I didnt even realise I had one!
On a slightly related note, I did a local race the at the weekend that offered a discount to EA affilated athletes. I took my card in my running short pocket incase I needed to recall the number on it during the entry process. By the end of the race the card had turned to mush, so not much use now.
I've never used mine. Having a download option that you can print out (and laminate?) yourself if you need it seems logical to me.
Used mine half a dozen times or so over the years in Needle Sports, Keswick, and also when visiting Pete Blands in Kendal - so yes, keep em' coming please.

Never used it, and have obtained reductions by adding my membership number.

I use my card to enter races and get the affiliated discount, sometimes I pay for my shopping at Aldi using it, even better I bought some Brew Dog shares with it
