    Cross Country or Fell.

    Which is tougher ,not much fell racing in Winter AW says so...never see XC runners all dressed up in waterpoofs..

    AW = Athletics Weekly. And has done since a long time before Wainwright started writing.

    The article referred to here has been roundly decried as lacking in supporting evidence. Although if I've identified the author correctly, he's in possibly the only cross country league where numbers are actually falling!

    I used to read Anglers Mail (and never the Angling Times). At the start of the season they used to give away free gifts eg a spool of line or a float. Does AW give away free drugs and that?

    Lots of drug use in sport Derby Tup, never heard of a magazine giving them away ! Do you get em in the "fellrunner" mag..are they/it addictive ? Heard about a guy doing an early anti-Clockwise BG recce was drugged up ! lots of trail/ultra runners using canabis.........personally I never touch drugs its cheating.
