When you said "would like some say in just where the money is spent along with a possible legacy for the sport" I presumed it was in response to mappers suggestion ..fix a bridge ,put a plaque up...

More and more races are becoming oversubscribed and difficult to gain late entry especially when managing injury ,the effect of our sports impact on small local communities will be ever greater,
as will the effect on the environment ,as the sport continues to grow will we see more race routes changed to trail runs ...
Pendle Three Peaks Race (English Championship Race)is being touted /advertised on Si Entries as -
"perfect for those seeking to step up to the full tour of Pendle/Lakeland races 0r similar AL or BL fell races" it does recommend that you "have some navigational skills" .."you don't need to be a member of a club but please note that the race will be popular so please enter early if you intend to run "
So another "Championship " race in a sensitive area defo over-subscribed ..thoughts ?

I did it last year mate, great race but I can do the route whenever...I'm friends with Jamie who helps organise it so I'll sort a donation/some form of help towards it

Not expecting any points in the English Champs but I just like to be in awe of the better runners abilities while enjoying a day on the fells

If you know of any race strictly for meat eaters please share as I would be well up for it
The John Blair Fish Memorial Devil's Beef Tub Race has an all-carnivorous prize list but allows vegetarians to run because John was a veggy.
