It was a tough route and very tough conditions so a double whammy.
Rob Hope popped over on his bike. He was gutted he was too ill to run. Feedback has been very positive.
It was a 3 day job, with a team of assistants from BBH setting up Friday, patching up the damaged bits Saturday morning after the wind wreaked havoc Friday night, and then a few finishing off this morning. Then of course the marshalls, not just on course, but car parking, registration and start/finish teams.
Also thanks to some members of other local clubs that mucked in.
Many thanks also to Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue who were kept busy - as far as I know with only minor casualties - they did a great job.
