Before everyone sells theirs, does anyone have a copy that they'd be prepared to lend me for a week or 10 days please?

Given the obvious value of the book I promise to take good care of it and would pay Special Delivery postage each way to keep it safe. Am also not against putting a refundable deposit down as a show of trust.

Anyway, if someone out there has a copy... Thanks, Mike

I have just requested mine back from my mate. (Just hoping he gets it to me) If you havent got a copy by the time it is back with me I can send you mine to read. (plus you would need to tell me your real name so I know it is going to be looked after!)

That's very decent of you - thanks. I did enquire at our library but it seemed difficult to track down. Apparently the BM doesn't have a copy, and inter-library loan seemed a shot in the dark. Further investigation came up with the following:-

There is a copy in Hampshire but you can't borrow it unless you're a resident of Hampshire! The copy in Hampshire is at the 'HQZ BAR END store'; its classification is 796.522

Anyway, no problem giving you all my details etc., and I'm happy to give you a deposit too for peace of mind. I wouldn't expect such a valuable book to be posted around otherwise.

So thanks for the offer, and perhaps you could PM me know when your copy arrives back and we can sort something out.
