Just a reminder that this year's West Nab race is on Sunday 22nd May. A full programme of junior races & the senior race this year will also incorporate both the FRA English U20 Championship & (some would say more importantly) the Yorkshire U23 Championship!

Registration opens at Meltham CE School at 11.00am, with the U8's first off at 12.30. The school's PTA will be providing refreshments once again, so bring a couple of quid to boost their funds!

Weather forecast changing every day, so if you're U14 & older, bring your waterproofs, as you might need them!

Here's that link to the race page once again:

    See you there.

Blimey, that had a bit of everything throughout the extremely well marked course....it was full of surprises.

From one minute feeling like a tough cross country course, only next minute you're hurtling across open fell or falling into a stream. The climbs are mainly short but steep, with the exception being the drag up to the rocks of West Nab. This is then rewarded with a brilliant descent all the way back to the finish, not before some good arse sliding through the woods.

During the race the weather turned pretty nasty from what had been a lovely day. Phil insisted we carry full kit and what a brilliant call this was...sign this man up BBC weather, he knows his isobars.

Thanks to Phil and all his hardy marshals.
    Darren Fishwick, Chorley.

Cheers, Daz, but I think I'll stick to the day job!

Results should be available on website shortly, but in the meantime if anyone left a pair of Mudclaws at the presentation, let me know & we'll try to reunite you!
