It appears that even Rugby League is being taken over by snowflakes Stagger.
It describes itself as a forward thinking and tolerant sport but it seems that does not appear to extend to religious beliefs.
Israel Folau is one of the finest players to have graced the field in both Rugby codes and whilst I don't agree with some of his religious beliefs I find it outrageous the way that Hull KR are making threats against Catalan Dragons regarding him playing.
It would not surprise me if his appearances attract more fans, not less,as most Rugby fans recognise quality when they see it.
And, of course, the BBC are all over it, stirring the shit as usual.

    Quite correct.

BBC only have the challenge cup so they don't give two hoots for RL.

Everyone should have a right to air their views and we should be adult enough to listen plus decide what we consider appropriate.

Please enlighten me Stagger. In Rugby League, when in the act of scoring a try does the ball have to make contact with the ground?
I ask this because frequently I see a player crossing the try line with a dive but the ball does not make contact with the ground as their hand/wrist/forearm is in the way. A try is given and nobody complains. I have even seen a try referred to the video ref for offside, which it was not, and the fact that the ball was not grounded was not picked up.
This would not happen in Rugby Union where the grounding of the ball is paramount.

You are quite correct Llani, the ball must make contact with the ground.
    But
The grey area appears to be the grass is part of the ground, so if the deem the ball has made contact with one blade then a try is awarded.

Our rule makers and refs are killing my game.

Nowadays they still don't propel the ball backwards with a foot after a tackle. (Australia still do)

A scrum half was asked to re feed a scrum last week because he threw the ball straight to the loose forwards hands. He asked the ref if putting it in the second row was alright and was told of course.

    Disappointed. 🥱
