    Charlesworth Carnival

    Really enjoyed this today. Rain stopped just in time and amazing running by juniors within the senior race. Both men's and women's races were won by 14 year olds, pretty amazing. Sorry that carnival was cancelled as it looked as though the village had gone to huge efforts in preparation for the big day. It was nice to see the carnival queen start the races. Thanks to the organisers and plenty of eat as much as you can, cake at the finish!

    Indeed, it was a cracking little race, well organised, great route. Looking forward to next year when the carnival will hopefully be in full swing.

    Completely agree with the above, looking forward to doing it again and hopefully seeing the whole carnival in swing. Good to meet you Corniceman and hope that BG goes well next weekend for you and your contender!
