    Injury and a marathon

I have a marathon (Glencoe) at the start of October. I've been looking forward to it for ages BUT I managed to pick up a slight hamstring/glute injury back in June. As a result of which I'm just starting to feel like I'm ready to resume full training again now, less than 2 months from the marathon. Is it foolish to try and make the start line? I have a decent base and have already done a marathon earlier in February. Won't be setting a time, mostly just enjoying the views and descents and getting some decent mileage in for the OMM.

As Fell-guy says plenty of time to get ready for the marathon, see you at the OMM, you ever been in the Galloway Hills before?

It sadly wasn't, I've only been back at full fitness for the past two weeks. I've deferred my place to next year though so all is not lost.

I live and work in Galloway and spent a few years living in Newton Stewart so I know the area. Hopefully get out to play in the hills over there soon!
