    new sports for olympics

just been listening to radio and heard that for the next olympics, they are including climbing, surfing, and skateboarding ( may be just as demonstration sports .not sure)

The discussion after asked for suggestions as to sports to include and chess and bridge were suggested ?? Sports!!!!!

Considering squash has been put off year after year (not a big enough bribe to the IOC delegates maybe) What criteria do you think they use aqnd what additional sports would you like to see in Olympics and what could you do without?

Personally, while recognising the athleticism of the event and the UKs' success I could live without diving still less synchronised diving ( why not synchronised long jumping?) The less said about Synchronised swimming the better.

I'm not sure if you're aware but some of the competitors are on drugs. All the sports are "demonstration only" as far as I'm concerned. Well, apart from Bolt and the Brownlee boys (obvs)

Maybe I am old fashioned, I think that they should only have sports where the Olympics is the most important award in that sport. The likes of Tennis, Golf, football this is most definitly not the case.

I could get on board with chess-boxing, beer and chunder mile-ing and ferret legging.

Happy to watch people compete whilst drugged up - as long as we get to stipulate the drug they're on...

Given the scenery around Rio that I have been seeing on my television screen for the last few days, I have been wondering why fell-running (or at least mountain-running) wasn't in this year's Olympics.
