I've acquired a bump or lump under my foot. It's in the inside edge of my right foot a bit below where you'd play the ball when passing a football with the inside of the foot. I suspect it's an over-use type reaction to walking 30miles in two sessions at weekend and generally increasing mileage over last couple of months. Has anyone seen or had a similar problem? I've been icing it and am away next week so won't be running for a week or so.

thanks Mud, tried liberal application of classic wedding cake icing every two hours but foot no better and now can't get my mudrocs on! Any other suggestions??
Does it crunch when you roll e.g. a rolling pin with it. If so, it might be plantar fasciiitis?

Suspect I've inflamed a different tendon in my foot. I suppinate badly and been told in past by podiatrist that PF is mainly problem caused by over-pronation. I'll keep icing it and resting it
