Done 200+ miles in mine now & still slipping on Hag Farm Lane when it's damp. Never did in my old ones.

My experimental phase of thinking the micro-studs could be the cause has shown me to be a complete optimist. Conclusion: coloured rubber doesn't grip wet rock like black rubber. In fact, it's scary and should be avoided if there is any risk of running on rock.
Why do shoe makers downgrade a good design in the name of vanity?

Glad it's not just me & my old age. They are appalling bad. Shame as very comfy, as ever.

Latest red Mudclaw 300's also have less grip than the older yellow ones. tried to give them the benefit of the doubt when new but have now got a few miles in to break them in but still not impressed.
    One step beyond.
