    Leaking gutters

I have a leaking gutter on my house. Is anyone able to recommend someone in the Skipton/Settle area who could fix it for me?

Do it yourself mate, get a double ladder up just underneath it and give it a coat of looking at. If it's on a join it'll be the seal, sometimes they block and the weight of water sags them too, it it's sagged and lost the profile a couple of tiewraps wrapped round might do the job. What's the worst that can happen? In my apprentice days i remember old gits flailing around like rag dolls at the top of a set of triple ladders changing fluorescent tubes; yes- them were t' days. My grandmother reckons she used to replace roof slates in the days when she could manhandle a set of double ladders, she'd have been in her sixties then i guess.

Thanks for your reply Mr B but I've found a guy from Settle who can fix it for me. I've only just got my running back on track after a couple of years of struggling so I don't want to risk going up a ladder!
