    Lakeland classics

Looking at this I see langdale isn't part of it this year. Is this a one off or a permanent change?

Mostly because we wanted to include the resurrected Buttermere Horseshoe in the Lakeland Classics Trophy, to hopefully improve numbers and keep that race viable, but also because race numbers at Langdale, Borrowdale and Three Shires are good anyway, Ben and I decided to 'rest' one of those latter 3 races in turn and include Buttermere Horseshoe on a permanent basis.

Three Shires will be the race 'rested' in 2017. (With Langdale Horseshoe back in.)

An excellent decision Bill. And numbers were up at Buttermere this year, so hopefully that will be a continuing trend for a fantastic race.
