    Stopwatch w/ button lock

    Hello all,

I'm looking for a basic stopwatch without GPS (not allowed for mountain marathons, orienteering) that has a button lock feature to prevent accidental stop/starting the timer.

Button lock seems to be completely standard for GPS watches. But I can't see it listed as a feature for any stopwatch without GPS.

It's years since I've worn a 'normal' watch - is button lock now so standard that it isn't listed as a feature?

    Any suggestions? Thanks!

or you could buy a watch that is well designed enough that it's just not an issue
which is what I did 15 years ago (i'm now on my 3rd one!) and I can't recall ever "accidentally" pressing either the Stop/Start or Split button, as they are hard-to-press "panels" on the front, rather than sticky-outy studs around the edge:
