    Waterproof Gloves

Any recommendations? Hands were frozen today. I normally use a pair of liners under a pair of North Face waterproof shells. Didn't cut the mustard on top of Great Gable this lunchtime, not warm enough and the NF shells aren't much waterproof.
I'm looking at a pair of Dexsheel Thermfit gloves - claimed as waterproof, but welcome suggestions.

Every year this topic crops up as do these gloves:

    Really tempted this year!

Neoprene back, breathable palm. Great for winter cycling too.

I wear my old skiing gloves - rather bulky but as they stay on my hands almost all of the time that is not a problem, and they are robust enough to cope with handling rock when that is necessary. They are not waterproof, but none are - there is that huge hand sized hole at one end.

After a friend tied my laces up for me because I couldn't feel my fingers, I forked-out on an expensive pair of waterproof mittens (Montane) like theirs. Never looked back.

For when it gets really cold e.g. this morning! I use these for both cycling and running

Only £15 and the crab claw means you still have some dexterity.

Otherwise, a thin pair of cotton mix gloves inside some Buffalo mits http://www.needlesports.com/1016/pro...tts-black.aspx
seems to do the trick. Not waterproof but jolly toasty.
