    In Rombalds Stride some years ago a bloke got taken out by a deer in Spring Woods,soon after the start. I think he got air ambulanced off. The deer was spooked by so many runners. I heard this story a bit back and thought it was a myth, but then I was marshalling a race and met the man. Lizzie Armitsteads brother got put in hospital when a deer jumped out in front of his bike.
