    vodka & what???

Over a period I have been trying various mixers:-

    Coke
    Iron bru
    Vimto
    Lemonade
    Milk
    Dandelion & burdock
    Red bull
    Lime juice

Has anyone found the perfect mixer?

Having worked in a lab for a while, vodka always seemed too much like the industrial stuff and less like a drink.

    I beg your pardon Gentleman.

Mr Bond, James Bond was a vodka connoisseur.

Vodka and cork....for the bottle. Add a key for the cupboard to lock it in.

Take your shot glass, put it in your bumbag.
Toil up a gnarly craggy mountain.
Find a crystal spring somewhere near the summit.
Retrieve shot glass, fill it and sip.

Better than any chemical slop cooked up by the ruskie wood industry. Forget about Mr Bond. Don't forget he was also an 80-a-day man!

It goes to show how you can make something sounds glamorous by putting it in books and films. Vodka Martini is disgusting stuff.

"Thanks evil villain, I'll have a pint of guinness and blackcurrant with a pernod sinker". Do you think that would have worked just as well?

I was in a bar in Corsica, for my 21st, with the missus back in 1992 & they offered her a vodka, hot milk & sugar. She said it was incredible! I stuck to beer.
