I think you mean here (I guess things are getting a bit messy in the Royal):

Good to see you, Will and the crew today, and good to donate some leftover cakes (from HF) to the scouts.
It was impressive spectating at Kinder Low End watching Alasdair and Megan leading the field, and all the rest of the runners too. I couldn't believe it at first when Alasdair went over the stile without another runner in sight on the Kinder Low horizon.

I managed to run around the route between 9am - 11am with Wormstones, so didn't feel too bad about having missed an entry.

    Cheers.

Many thanks to Will and Pennine Fell Runners for a well organised race. They were the best conditions in the 4 times I've run this. We were fair kicking up the dust at times. By the end, the dust tan started where the socks ended.

That was a phenomenal performance by Buxton's Alasdair Campbell, whose 1:08:18 was over four minutes ahead of second placed Rob Little, after which seconds separated the finishers.

Because this race is just short enough to run close to max effort throughout, it took far more out of me than Lakes Mountain 42 did two weeks previously. For the 1hr 45mins it took me, my heart rate averaged 171bpm and maxed at 185. Talk about red-lining. No wonder I felt used up and worn out.

More photos for you. I wonder what weather the Fellsman will bless us with next weekend?

Great photos as always Nick. Rob Little must have had a storming finish. At the trig point he looked to be struggling, he was about 7th or 8th. Perhaps he had fallen and was recovering.
