Certainly a great day for a run yesterday. I had a bit of a shocker(15 minutes slower) but that just shows tha lack of training I guess. Otherwise, most enjoyable and no doubt I'll be back again next year.

    Many thanks to all involved.

    Enjoy!

What a cracking day for it! TWA number two completed and only twenty-odd minutes slower than in 2014 :roll eyes: I really do need to start training properly and sort my core strength out. I knew I was in for a shocker after getting cramp in my calves...in bed before the race!

Anyway, I survived and the views were stupendous. Great race as always and a big thank you to all the marshals, the organisers and everyone involved.

    TWA 2017- more photos

Thank you to all the organisers, helpers & marshals. It was a fantastic day out. I'm sure for most of us.

I've also added a few of my photos here taken during the race. Should have spent more time running really.

I'd like to add my thanks to Wynn/Steve and all those who put the races on and helped on the day. Kids did Wa! And I did TWA for the first time. One of my best days in the Lakes. Bloody Marvellous!

Ditto (apart from the kids bit). Brilliant race, thanks everyone.

Top day out as always with superb organisation by all involved with bumper numbers this year and the return of the wa! Happy with my run being 16 minutes quicker than last year and 37 minutes quicker than my first waltz in 2013. I keep threatening to tackle the teenager, maybe one day...
