Narrow fit trail shoes
Up until recently Brooks Cascadia have been excellent - narrow fit, great cushioning and a robust upper. The uppers on recent models just don't wear well so I'm looking at alternatives. Any recommendations for a narrow fit, well cushioned trail shoe? Thanks.

La Sportiva Akasha.... are they narrow fit...? They are certainly well cushioned but a bit more aggressive on the sole than the Brooks. That said, I've used them all summer/autumn on road/track/trail/treadmill/grass.... with absolutely no issues at all. Will be going back to La Sportiva Bushido's next, but they are not well cushioned in my view, although they are absolutely superb in all other aspects...

Salomon Speedcross or Hoka Speedgoat

The Adidas Kanadia worked as a decent trail shoe for me when I had a pair before the Brooks Cascadia I got a couple of years ago. Both seem very similar to me. Only got the Cascadias because they were cheap in TKMax at the right time. Both definitely trail and not fell.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I will look out for those come the January sales!

Another vote for the speedcross. Snug fit, a reasonable amount of cushioning and the grip is not too bad either. Definitely a trail shoe but probably good enough for a dry fell race too.
