Will be in Keswick for the next 3 nights in the camper van. Mrs T and I normally stay down Borrowdale so Keswick itself isn't such familiar territory after dark. Any recommendations for pubs/food?

If you're looking for decent, reasonably priced food, then Oddfellows Arms is very good, if you turn up on a weekend at established meal times it can be busy though. Food in the Dog. & Gun is great but this also gets packed. Honourable mentions for the choppy near the moot hall, and also the pasty shop which closes around 5-30.
Plenty of decent pubs, all quite similar. Used to really love the Lake Road Inn, but does appear to have been revamped in recent years.
A good place to catch the sport is Casa's Sports Bar just under the archway to the side of the main drag. Packed on a Saturday afternoon or a big event, but at other times it's decent for a quiet match and not too busy.
There's one pub out the back of the ginnels, forget the name, but it's got quite a long bar, and if you go upstairs there's a pool table and some comfy seating, this is also good for sports.
On the road in from the A66 is the Twa Dogs Inn, this is worth a visit if you like football and have never been, you'll see why if you go. If you like a very quiet night with decent prices then the conservative club is further up towards town on the same road, you definitely won't que for the pool table or the bar here, but it's quite nice (in the interests of politics, there's a labour club in Keswick as well).
Personally I think some of the Ambleside pubs edge it in terms of personality (unicorn, golden rule), but Keswick still very good, and tonnes of choice.

The Loft. Take Amex, Ken, Amex' mate, Luke, Stagger, our Stef, the Gloves, dom, Jamie etc ideally after a few ales and the hottest thing on the menu at Lakeland Spice. Ideally on the Saturday before Christmas

Thanks. I knew I could rely on the Forum!
Casa Bella Italian - sometimes not as busy as other places
Keswickian chippie - the best and if you sit down upstairs they have beer in a huge fridge
Lakeland Spice - first choice
Dog and Gun - great but always busy. Very dog friendly

The Pheasant inn
Just off the A66 near the Crossthwaite roundabout.
Great food, and one of Keswick's finest
