Aye, that was after a fag and when DT explained the closing times for the chippy and boozer.

He needs to time his BG potter, for the session with the fotumites in Keswick.

He said that he will announce his forum name to anyone who buys him a Jennings or a Guinness (pint of)

Word has it Phil Winskill has the job as tour guide and Carl Bell is at the rear on the pub crawl.

Half a gallon of Snecky and he'll tell you he does most of his training in Walsh Racers

Kilian is resting for some weeks, due to being tired and having delicate feet after the Ultra Pirineu: http://www.ledauphine.com/sport/2017...du-grand-serre

So presumably he will wait until mid-Winter for his BGR record attempt.
In his lifetime he suffered from unreality, as do so many Englishmen.

I remember reading about Billy Bland resting for a few weeks one year, after the Borrowdale because "he had a tummy ache". Oh and Joss taking some time out after "tumbling over and scratching his knee". Happens to the best

Good to hear the best mountain runner in the world is resting and recovering as opposed to the 'go hard or go home' stuff which gets us all injured and slower..

"Careful now" doesn't sell as many shoes and T-shirts. Which is what it's all about.
