Despite asking on twitter if now or September is a good time for mossies, surely he can't seriously be thinking of doing it in next few days, he's got Hardrock 100 a week on Saturday !! He should be over there acclimatising, as a lot of that race is run at over 10,000 ft. Then again, this is Kilian we are talking about, so who knows..............

He should be reet enough. Didn't he have a couple of runs up that Everest a bit ago? Okay so it's not Stoodley Pike or Great Whernside but it is "fell"

It puzzled me a bit. But maybe he's not going for the record the first time. Or he's going to recce it as training for a later attempt at the record.

The record will go this year but it won't be Killian or Ricky. The first we hear of it will be when it's done. It'll be a lakes based runner. You heard it here first......

Yes, an all out effort doesn't seam to tie in with his busy racing schedule. Too much recovery. But he is good enough to do it at an easy (for him) pace, almost as a training no run.

According to an interview on iRunFar he's planning a BG after UTMB
    http://www.irunfar.com/2017/07/kilia...interview.html
"I know after that it’s Sierre-Zinal, UTMB, and then I want to try Bob Graham, and then the ski season."
    ....it's all downhill from here.

Ahh, but he either forgot, or deliberately didn't mention Glencoe, so we don't know if it's planned before or after that.

2 weeks between UTMB and Glencoe, and for anyone else you'd say no way would they go for it in between, but you never know with KJ........

It might depend how much he wants to recce beforehand
