    Running in SW Ireland...

...if any of ye planning any holidays in the SW of Ireland, don't forget your Inov8s and Walshes. Have set up a page on Facebook, look up West Cork Trail Runners. An hour's flight from the UK, an hour in a car, and you're in the middle of some stunning countryside for fell and trail running, mountains sweeping down to the Atlantic, cliff tops, remote ranges...it's got the lot. Anyone looking for local info, tips on what to see, where to stay, route descriptions etc. just join and ask.

Bumping this, if that's okay with mods, as know some of ye might be planning a holiday here in Ireland this summer. Plenty of great trails, and even more plentiful pristine mountains within an hour of Cork Airport, with cheap flights from pretty much anywhere in the UK. It's gotta be cheaper and faster than facing traffic through the Watford Gap on the way to the Lake District on a summer weekend!
